As a registered sex offender, my life is constantly torn. Ripped and thrown out of jobs, accused of speaking wrong, thrown from living space after living space. The public presumes that one mistake is mistake that will repeat itself over and over again. Despite all of the negative impact, I maintain involvement with volunteering, belong to book clubs, and more importantly keep in mind: no one can take my
dignity and who I am today.
