Back in 2004 I was accused by my brothers ex wife of touching my niece inappropriately on Halloween. Only issue with that is I was in jail for missing court in another county and was being held until I could be transported. September 22nd. Until November 19th. I had a lawyer I paid $1,000.00 in the end just to say, “Take this plea deal or you go to court it will be life with out the chance of Probation.” I was told he just glanced over the evidence and was best friends with the judge. Basically good old boys having out backwoods southern Justice. I had to service 5 years in Prison was released to New Mexico in 2016 where I did Probation until 2019 when Oklahoma stated I was to be placed on Unsupported Probation until 2021. I am very upset at the state of New Mexico as they require life long registry every 3 months and the problem is the registration office has moved 4 times since 2016. Also the original officer retired and was replaced in 2018 to great relief….

He has not committed any crimes since. Last December, he was diagnosed with a severe diabetic complication that required multiple foot surgeries. He was in the hospital longer than expected due to infection. While he was in the hospital, the nurse accidentally broke his phone. We haven’t been able to afford another phone, so he went without. Well since I’m not only a registrant but a member of the public I thought I’d conference in on their call today about the polygraph and all its wonderness and goodness fantasticness.What I heard today was a lot of 100% USDA Ground Choice B.S. unfortunately. However; I’ve never used any Weapons, in any of my Past Crimes either. My Last Conviction ended up with me doing 5 years. I thought that would be the end of it, but No. Nearly Eleven Months AFTER MY CONVICTION, I was brought back to Court, and in an SVP Hearing, WAS LITERALLY CONVICTED AGAIN BY HAVING TO REGISTER FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! I was relatively nervous but had done extensive research from others here and elsewhere on what to do pre-travel and what to expect. Full disclosure: my incident was in 2007 and I have been off parole since 2012. Also: I am a woman and even though I believe in feminist ideologies, I also believe that women for obvious reasons do not have the same stigma attached as men (not relevant to this discussion but thought I would share). I have been on 3 cruises prior to 2016 and was denied Carnival after that with a letter and phone call and returned my money. This cruise was on Norwegian. By Victor… I served a little over two years in federal prison for three separate sex offenses. Most of my poor choices were related to viewing child pornography. It was a long-term addiction I suffered through for about 20 years before I was finally taken down by an FBI sting. In a way, it was a huge relief to finally be caught because now I knew this sad part of my life was over. What I didn’t know was how incredibly difficult life was going to be from that point on. I was on active duty with the Air National Guard as an officer and had served close to 30 years in the Air Force, although not all of it was active duty. I threw away a wonderful career and destroyed my family. That was over seven years ago. As a military veteran I am very thankful for the help I received from the Dept of Veterans Affairs (the VA)….
